Susha is a dual ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience caring for individuals and families. She began her nursing journey at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Nursing. Susha is deeply committed to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of people across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. She believes that healing begins with the whole person—mind, body, and spirit -feeling heard, respected, and understood, and she is known for creating a safe, compassionate, and welcoming space where patients and families feel comfortable sharing their stories. Her approach to care blends evidence-based practice with decades of clinical experience, thoughtful observation, attentive listening, and professional intuition to provide a truly individualized treatment plan for clients.
As a PMHNP, Susha’s role extends beyond diagnosis and medication management. She is a dedicated educator and mental health advocate who empowers patients through collaboration, education, and compassionate guidance. She values working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and families to ensure care is holistic, patient-centered, and supportive. Above all, Susha is committed to walking alongside her patients with empathy and respect as they work toward healing, resilience, and lasting well-being.
