Kendra Niemi, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC

Kendra Niemi MSN, PMHNP-BC is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in the treatment of older adolescents through the aging population, and heads the Sexual Health & LGBTQ services program at RCBM. Kendra works collaboratively with her clients. She uses her experience as an advanced practice psychiatric nurse to provide patient-focused care to individuals and families while integrating biological, psychological, and social elements. Her provision of services ranges from diagnostic psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication management, education, and psychotherapy

Kendra’s areas of clinical interest lie in sexual health, mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity, and impulse dyscontrol disorders, along with stress management, domestic violence/sexual assault, and women’s issues.

Kendra earned her Master of Science degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from the University of Michigan and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northern Michigan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
