Karen Donoughe MS, MA, LPC, NCC

Karen received her Bachelor and Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.  She did additional graduate work at Oakland University, receiving a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling. Karen is currently in her third year of doctoral studies in Counselor Education at Oakland University, and anticipates obtaining her Ph.D. in that field.

Her technical and corporate experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the automotive industry has enhanced her ability to work with great success with a wide variety of career professionals. Her work at RCBM has been diverse, and her patient load continues to grow.

Karen holds counseling licensure in the state of Michigan and is a nationally certified counselor.

Her interests include work with adults and adolescents in areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, legal issues, loss, and career transitions. Karen also teaches in the Counseling Department and at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine as a part of her doctoral training.
