Forensic PsychiatryJoel L. Young, M.D. is a board certified forensic psychiatrist. Dr. Young has testified in many criminal and civil court cases and has offered testimony as an expert witness.
The Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine utilizes a team approach (with Dr. Young as primary clinician) in offering the following forensic services:

RCBM is currently involved in clinical trials on the following research topics:
- Major Depressive Disorder (trial for adults ages 18-65)
- Anxiety (pediatric patients ages 6-17)
- AD/HD -Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: (Children and adolescents ages 6-17)
- Smoking cessation study for adolescents: (ages 12-19)
