Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Mindy Layne Young, M.S.W., J.D. discusses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is the most empirically validated therapeutic technique. CBT is used by all RCBM clinicians, and is designed to challenge patients’ distorted thoughts in order to help them create a healthier view of their world. CBT is most commonly utilized in patients with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues.
